Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Profile Information: Meditation preferences, goals, progress data, and any personal insights you choose to share.
Journal Entries: Personal reflections, experiences, or thoughts that you enter in the journal feature.
Personal Content: Any other sensitive or expressive content you input into the app.
Communication Data: Emails or messages you send to us for support or feedback.

Automatically Collected Information

Usage Data: Session duration, features used, meditation completion rates.
Device Information: Device model, operating system, app version, and anonymized identifiers.
Analytics Data: Crash reports, interaction data, and app usage trends for performance optimization.

Audio and AI-Generated Content

Meditation Generation: We use artificial intelligence to generate personalized meditation scripts based on the information you provide (e.g. name, preferences, goals). These scripts are created on-demand and are not stored by the AI provider or used to train their models.
Voice Cloning & Audio: Your meditation audio is generated using a cloned version of our founder’s voice. While it is based on a real voice, the final audio is synthesized using AI. No personal user audio is collected or cloned.
Voice Recordings: In future we may offer conversational features. For these voice-based features, we may temporarily process audio to deliver personalized responses. Audio is processed securely and not stored permanently unless you explicitly opt in.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and personalize the App experience.
Generate customized AI-powered meditations and convert them into audio.
Recommend tailored meditations and track your progress.
Improve the App, develop new features, and enhance stability.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share information under the following conditions:

Service Providers

We work with trusted providers who assist in app functionality:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, real-time database, crash analytics.
Google Cloud Services: AI processing and (future) voice recognition.
AI Text Generation Services: We use a secure third-party AI model to create meditation content. User data is not stored or reused by the AI provider.
Text-to-Speech (TTS): Audio is generated locally using a custom AI voice based on our founder’s voice. No external audio storage is used.
PostHog: We use PostHog to analyze user interactions and improve app performance. This includes anonymized usage data such as screen views, session time, and button interactions.
Shakebugs: We use Shakebugs to collect crash reports, bug logs, and user-submitted debug reports to help improve app stability and user support.

All third-party services are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for authorized purposes.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your data to comply with applicable laws, government requests, or legal processes.

Business Transfers

In the event of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, user data may be part of the transferred assets, subject to the same privacy commitments.

Firewalled cloud infrastructure with access restricted to essential personnel.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for app functionality or legal obligations:

Account Information: Retained until you delete your account.
Journal Entries & Personal Content: Retained until deleted by you or with account removal.
Usage and Analytics Data: Retained for up to 2 years for performance insights.
Audio Data: Processed temporarily and discarded unless explicitly saved by the user (future feature).
